What is FlavaFil? 

FlavaFil is the world's first all-in-one water filtration and flavor enhancement straw that fits any tumbler and almost any water bottle. It combines a state-of-the-art filtration system with a FlavaChamber and FlavaBullet, allowing you to enjoy clean, flavored water without affecting the entire bottle's contents.

How does FlavaFil work?

FlavaFil filters water as you drink and allows you to add flavor if desired. Water passes through the filter for purification, then through the FlavaChamber for optional flavoring. You can use it for filtration only, flavoring only, or both.

What types of bottles is FlavaFil compatible with?

FlavaFil is designed to fit all tumblers and 95% of straw water bottles, including popular brands like HydroFlask, Owala, and Stanley Quencher.

How do I clean my FlavaFil?

The main components are dishwasher safe (top rack only). For manual cleaning, use warm, soapy water to clean the straw and FlavaChamber. Rinse thoroughly. The filter should not be washed - just replace it when needed.

How is FlavaFil different from other products?

Can I use my own tea bags or flavor sources?

Yes! FlavaFil is compatible with off-the-shelf cold brew tea bags. We're also developing our own line of flavor granules and electrolytes.

How does the flavoring process work?

The FlavaChamber contains your chosen flavoring (tea bag, electrolytes or flavor granules). As you drink, water passes through the chamber, picking up flavor. The rest of the water in your bottle remains unflavored.

Can I adjust the flavor intensity? 

Yes, the FlavaChamber can be rotated to control the strength of the flavor infusion.

How long do flavor sources last? 

This varies based on the product and your preference. Generally, one flavor source will last for one bottle of water, but you can adjust for stronger or weaker flavors.

Does FlavaFil use artificial sweeteners?

Our upcoming FlavaFil powders will not contain artificial sweeteners or colorants. We're focusing on natural ingredients. When using your own flavor sources, you have full control over ingredients.

How much water does the FlavaFil apparatus displace in my bottle? 

FlavaFil causes approximately 3.4 fl oz of water displacement in your bottle. It's designed to be compact while maintaining functionality.

What are cold brew teas and how do they work with FlavaFil?

Cold brew teas are tea bags specifically designed to infuse in cold water (no hot water needed!). They're the chill cousin of your regular tea bags, bringing smooth, refreshing flavor.

How it works: Pop a cold brew tea bag into your FlavaBullet, place it in the FlavaChamber, and enjoy instant flavor as you sip.

You can find cold brew tea bags at most grocery stores and tea shops. They come in tons of flavors, from classic black tea to fruity herbal blends, giving you endless options to customize your hydration experience.

How long does the filter last and how often should I replace it? 

Depending on the filter type, it will last approximately 3 months. Replacement filters cost between $10 and $15.
